Code of Ethics:

As an ethical tarot reader:

1. I will only read for clients that are 18 years and over, unless a parent/guardian gives permission and is present during the reading (only for 16 years and over).

2. I will read the tarot cards to the best of my ability. I will be open and honest about what I see and the messages I receive, and I will do so with compassion and respect.

3. I will honestly represent my tarot qualifications to you, including experience.

4. All my readings are strictly confidential. I will not share any detail regarding your reading without your permission. I will store your information securely.
   *There are some exceptions to client confidentiality including if the client was at risk of hurting themselves or anyone else, or if a crime has been committed. I am obliged to report this information to relevant authorities.

5. I will remain as non-judgemental and impartial as possible, and I welcome people of all cultures, religions, beliefs, sexual orientations and gender identity.

6. My aim is to be a source of guidance by incorporating intuition and practical strategies to support you in navigating most aspects of life. I will not tell you what to do. My focus is to empower you, but it’s up to you to determine your path, as I believe we all have free will.

7. I will not give advice regarding areas that I am not qualified in. I will recommend clients consult licensed professionals in areas such as legal, financial, and medical/psychological.

8. I reserve the right to refuse a reading for a question that I feel I cannot answer, or goes against my code of ethics. I don’t predict the future, answer yes/no questions or answer questions regarding others (3rd party, for example an ex-partner).

Refunds:

There are no refunds for this service once you have submitted payment, unless:

• A question for the purchased reading cannot be agreed upon between both parties or

• Awaken Sage is unable to complete the reading due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case you will be notified via email and a full refund will be processed.

I will not pull additional cards after the reading is complete, but I am able to discuss the reading to clarify any areas. I welcome discussions on custom spreads/readings that we could develop for future readings.
